Simply Sophisticated

This is just what I need this time of year, a stamp set that is simple and sophisticated. That is what I have found with Thinking Of You, one of three new releases from Flourishes today.

It was also so very quick to color, stamp, and cut. I used my SU markers to color direct to polymer, "huffed" on it, them stamped. Using clear stamps allows me to see exactly where to place the image without the fear of being "off center" on my Spellbinder die cut pieces.

The sophisticated floral image was much easier to color than I had first imagined. I may not have gotten the color in the exact spot of each flower on this image but to me it did not matter, I was able to add all the color I wanted with just a few swipes of my markers.

A few score lines on plain white paper certainly dresses up a card and with my new Martha Stewart border punch I was able to add a "lace" edge.

I finished off with a wide looped ribbon and a "spot" of decoration with the small floral image on the lower edge. I am still not sure if I like the small ribbon attached to it, but for now it stays.

Take a look, here are the three sets, the first one is Thinking of you

The second is "Lace and Trims", come back tomorrow and you will see a Lace and Trim card.

The last set and sure to be one of the most popular is "I Love Roses". As you can see it is a signature floral image by Marcie Hawley, gorgeous.

And to see what everyone has been doing with these sets check out. When you buy all three in a bundle you can get 10% off.

Julie, Cindy L, Cindy H, Laura, Latisha, Betty, Faith, Jan Marie, Christine. You haven't seen anything until you take a look at what the designers have done.

Thanks for stopping by, oh by the way, I took the little ribbon off the card and it looks so much better.
