I Love Rose's With Many Looks

I wanted to see what what could be done with one stamp set with different papers, ribbons, embellishments. While I have made five here, there are an infinite number of ways you can use this rose set. I have not even begun to work with elegant metallic card stock or vellum.

I can see what I will be doing with when I need a card for a really special occasion...well I degrees from this post.

For the first card...and it happens to be my personal favorite...much to my surprise, who thought plaid? and roses??
The dp paper is from BasicGray's two scoops with Pretty in pink and real red. The leaves are handsome hunter.
I stamped the rose on pretty in pink paper with L'amour Red palette ink....I am finding that all the qualities of palette inks are marvelous when using water, alcohol inks or just about any coloring choice I want to use....that allowed me to color with real red and a water pen for the rose and handsome hunter on handsome hunter paper. I highlighted the tips of the rose with inkssential pen.
paper: two scoops, pretty in pink, handsome hunter, real red.
Ink: L'amour red, real red, handsome hunter,
Misc: pink scallop ribbon, tags trio, silver cord

The next card is very simple and the easiest to make with only two colors, White embossing powder, white satin ribbon, black nior ink.

The next card, or should I say ATC used BasicGray urban prairie paper and brad. I had a great time making a small size card but I did have to remember to do everything in "miniature", a small image the small pearls, the small sentiment, the biggest thing about this is the glazed brad.

This can also be the perfect embellishment for a scrapbook page, or for the Flourishes ATC trade using a floral design. I will have to come up with another design now (I wasn't planning on using this anyway). Paper: Urban Prairie, white, black, barely banana, bliss blue Ink: Nior black, more mustard, yellow, hunter green, rose red Misc: Urban Prairie glazed brads, black pearls

I used different Basic Gray papers on three of the five cards, this one happens to be euphoria.

You are able to find coordinating papers all in the same pad of paper, I did add a solid blue for a little contrast.

I inked using and pretty in pink, then masked the pink rose using eclipse tape, I inked the yellow roses starting with Palette raw sienna then water colored with SU markers. After finishing the card I used my stardust pen to add a little sparkle to the yellow roses.

Using daubers I added a little background color to the white panel with finishing touches of blue swiss dot ribbon and blue brads.

The sentiment is popped, and all panels are cut using Spellbinders classic rectangles.

Paper: BG euphoria, white, bliss blue Ink: Raw sienna, claret, summer sun, rose red Misc: blue sheer dot ribbon, brads, Spellbinders classic rectangles.

The last card was made using sprout dp and watercolor paper. I stamped twice on stratmore watercolor paper, colored using SU markers and watercolor pen. The second image was just the blossom of the rose, after coloring it was cut apart and glued to the bottom image, using my glue pen, for added dimension.

The panels were cut with the long rectangles and a ticket punch at the corners were I added pearls. The ribbon was the final touch.

Paper: Memory Box Sprout, Stratmore watercolor paper Ink: SU markers Misc: pearls, satin ribbon

One final card, I just could not leave this set alone, besides I need a wedding card by the end of the month and what a relief to have it ready, AND it was simply done.

Stamps: I Love Roses, Wedding Essentials
Paper: very vanilla, vellum Ink: Versa Mark Misc: Ivory ribbon, Lattie Pearls, gold embossing powder, dots embossing folder

Each and every one of your Rose cards are marvelous! If I had to choose a favorite it would be a tough call, but after MUCH hemming and hawing, I must agree the plaid is my favorite. You captured the colors of the plaid DP perfectly in yoru rose. I'm in awe of your handiwork.

They're all so beautiful!!! It makes me want to dig out my flower stamps and make something pretty on this dreary, icy Michigan morning.
