Spring Will Arrive! On Time.

But it may not look like it in some parts of the country and even here in Florida it is a little chilly today, but I KNOW the hot weather is coming so you will not hear me complaining about a little chill in the air, but not yet.

If you have not hear about the fun at Flourishes Stamping Dream week-end you will have to cheek it out here and here. Everyone had such a good time that it will become an annual event if not a bi-annual event. You can bet it will be even bigger and better next time. If you think you might be interested in hearing more information about our next stamping week-end sign up at Flourishes newsletter and you will be among the first to receive notice.

Speaking of Flourishes newsletter, take a look.....you will see more cards using Spellbinders dies classic shapes and new shapes. Flourishes has a number of the new dies on order from Spellbinders and like many vendors we are waiting for our order with a ship date of March. Yes I am aware that it is March but we are not given an exact date of arrival and we will SHOUT it out when we have them in the store.

In the meantime, look and be ready to order.

After taking a class with Faith and Becca I am trying to hard not to copy their style...LOL... no problem there, but I am finding I am using more layers, more pop dots, and looking at larger elegant ribbons (not used here). I colored the image with markers and water pen on Fabiano watercolor paper. This Easter basket (Signs Of Spring) is so much fun to color with any medium... markers, watercolor crayons, watercolor with markers or using Copic, depends on the intensity of color you want.

The recipe for the card is........

Spellbinder die; labels one, tags trio
Stamp set; Signs of Spring
Paper; dp BG Euphoria, Fabiano watercolor, white, sky blue, vellum
Ink; Palette charcoal and raw sienna SU markers all the yellow's, celery, garden green, caramel, close to cocoa, lavender lace, bliss blue
Embellishments; sheer white dot ribbon, rhinestones green, Cuttle bug folder.
