I would like to thank so very many of you for the kind comments on my retiring from one job to spend more time at Flourishes and with family.
Believe me I have many Thank you cards to make and send out to all my co-workers, neighbors and family that how showered me with dinner, cards, flowers and gifts.

I think the best card/gift was from one of my co-workers. She is not a card maker, nor a stamper, but Joyce can draw, but unfortunately she says she can not cut...........and when she did she made such a mess of it that it had to be thrown away.
Joyce can scrap pages and once she viewed a card as a miniature scrap book page I was the recipient of this stunning card......and not a lick of ink on it, well except computer ink.
Along with two to die for dinners and gifts I received flowers. Flowers always brighten and enhance any room, as well as the flowers outside.

This is now my morning view with my first cup of coffee for the day. It gives me the mojo to start the day, especially now that I have thank you cards to make.

Here is the first thank you card made with Sweet Pea and Thank You (what else?) Tulip. I started with a card sketch (by tamera). I knew I was going to use Copic to color with as well as a special "Copic" paper (it's not a Copic brand of paper)that I am falling in love with. All the dp is from one basic grey collection, wisteria.

It is finished off with silk ribbon and Finishing Touches-Beautiful Brads. I added a few chocolate pearls to the brad flowers and sentiment. I love it when all the guess work is taken out of card making, especially when I don't have much time. I don't know about you but I spend way too much time trying to decide on layouts, what colors will go together. I like it when all the guess work has been taken out of color choices, sometimes anyway.
Thank you for stopping by!
