And the Winner is..........................

It has been a long day.....A great day. But not a sad day for me, maybe it just hasn't set in yet that I will no longer be going to work at the dental office that I helped build....well at least helped move into back in 1984.

I was fed lots of sweets, yes dental offices have to be the biggest sweet eaters in the world, even the boss. ....I was presented with great retirement gifts..... then taken out for dinner.

As many of you know I am not retiring, I am just trading one hat for another...FLOURISHES! You can't call it work when you make your hobby a business. Besides I can set my own hours that I go in and days of the week for that matter. Where else can you go to work and play with new must have toys that you take home and play some more.

I will be taking half of the summer off to go North....... does having your computer along and working from long distance count as working??? Any way you just want to know who won.

Well I used http://www.random.org/ and let them choose the number and the Winner is................... 57

Challenges - CC214 And FTTC13

Here is my card for the combination challenges on SCS and Flourishes forum. What a winning combination, real black olives and the sketch challenge on Flourishes newsletter, both submitted by our very own Betty Wright and Cindy Haffner respectfully.

The stamp set used is a limited addition give out at the 1st Flourishes Stampers Dream Weekend called Beauty in Nature.

The paper and inks are SU real red, basic black, olive green with a MS butterfly punch, a Fiskers circle punch, a Cuttlebug embossing folder cut with Spellbinders classic square nesties.

One of the fun elements on this card is the magnet square by Basic Grey. It holds the card closed with the black satin ribbon adhered to the back as seen here.
Two sentiments, from Sweet Violets was used. One on the ribbon and one hidden under the ribbon until opened.

Check out what others have done with this same sketch on Flourishes Timeless Tuesdays.

And as always, Thank you for stopping by. Don't forget to check the blog candy this month right here, additions coming everyday.
