Welcome to Flourishes Second Day of Release!

I hope you like what you have seen so far.
Violas and Snowdrops as beautiful as those in real life! That's what you get when you ink up this set illustrated by Marcella Hawley. This set features two large focal images plus two smaller bookplate versions that are perfect for tags, or adornments on cards or creations. Add in 5 beautifully scripted sentiments, and you have the makings of beautiful creativity. Botanical Bookplates Vol. 1 was designed to match our Tailor-made Classic Bookplate Die for a perfectly cut and embossed image each time!

For my third card this week, I have used the bookplate die and botanical bookplate, stamped with Distress Walnut stain ink and colored with Copic E40, E42, E44, E47, YG25, G29, every so slightly RV93.
I ran the background layer through my Big Shot  using a new 5x7 embossing folder called fireflies then I sanded the paper slightly so the white core would show. Paper used is Pretty In Pink (1 2 3 Create Kit) and classic ivory.

The sentiment is stamped on Ivory paper using walnut stain ink pad again. I have not used my walnut stain very much in the last year or so as I find it much easier to use the lighter stain colors when I am adding distress ink, but I find I really like it for stamped images and sentiments. It is a much darker brown than any other brand I have.

This is the die.

As always there is a mystery blogger, just leave a comment for your change to win this Botanical Bookplate I set.
There come back to the Flourishes blog at 12 noon to see what the challenge of the day will be, and to check out yesterdays challenge as there is still time to enter, plus the pre challenge. WOW, so far there are three chances to win stamps this week.

Have you had the change to visit everyone today??
